A Celebration of Life Benefit for Ted Raamot December 10, 2017, at The Roadhouse:
My brother Ted passed away unexpectedly the day before Thanksgiving this benefit is dedicated to his memory.

Wow, what a great show at The Roadhouse today for my brother's benefit I was blown away by the talent Spokane has. We had 7 amazing acts take the stage today and play and sing their hearts out. This lineup of musicians was like none other you couldn't ask for a better lineup to put on an incredible show. I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart all of the bands that took the time out of their busy schedules to play this benefit I am beyond humbled.

Dimestore Cowboys Pantera Tribute:

Armed & Dangerous

Chris Reiser & The Nerve

Noctyms Descent.

Itts Cuzzen

A great big thank you to Jody Piper what an amazing acoustic solo set this was the first time seeing Jody's solo performance and I have to say it was a really nice solo. I would also like to thank my son in laws band Noctyms Descent, the name no one can spell lol super performance by this band and the drummer was doing the drums Def Leppard style like Rick Allen one-handed after just going under the knife on Monday for corporal tunnel surgery you guys rocked. Next up was Armed & Dangerous with their killer 45-minute set and some incredible renditions of the late great Tom Petty with Running Down a Dream and Last Chance With Mary Jane among other rock tunes great job guys. Then The Caretakers with Matt Smith and Willy Ford even though Willy was feeling under the weather that did not stop him from belting out the tunes for all of us, you guys blew it out of the water. Fifth performance of the night was my neighbor Chris Reiser and his band The Nerve with special guest vocals Willy Ford of the Caretakers. This was the first time I have ever seen this band live and they really delivered. Then our heavy metal favorites The Dimestore Cowboys this band covers Pantera like no other and pull off Dimebag Darryl to a T. Last but certainly not least was Itts Cuzzen's debut at the Roadhouse and the very first time I had seen them live but I knew they were going to be great with their 2 original tunes that rocked and over 60 awesome covers that there was not enough time to play them all. Killing it on lead guitar Ryan totally tearing into it like a madman truly an amazing set by this band.
Jody Piper Solo Acoustic Performance.

Thank you to all the talented artist that stepped up for this benefit I so appreciate all of you. Although the attendance was not what I expected, putting on a show as incredible as this put together in just a week and a half is a fate in its self. Most of my shows I like to have at least 2 months to really promote to do all the performers justice but in this case, I just did not have the time on such an unexpected tragedy.
The Caretakers

This was the show to see for sure if you were not there you really missed out on seeing some of Spokane's best musicians all in one spot. Again Thank you to all the bands and fans that came out to support the cause of this benefit and thank you to Joey and Linda at The Roadhouse for your hospitality and to the soundman for making all the bands sound truly amazing and Tom good job on lights. Hope to see you all in February at the Soul Stripper AC/DC Tribute on the 23rd. Have a great holiday season and Merry Christmas.
