Rock$tarzz Hospitality Promotions was proud to present our tribute show at The Roadhouse last Friday night June 9, 2017. Patitude Tribute to Pat Benatar traveled to Spokane all the way from Seattle to make their debut appearance with special guests Spokane locals Vain Halen Tribute and Piper's Rush Tribute.

Patitude is a 4 piece tribute band to Pat Benatar based out of Seattle, WA this band really pulls off Pat Benatar's sound with Sarah Pinzon's incredible vocals this gal can really belt out all those high notes that Pat Benatar was known for. I was blown away how good this band really is with high energy stage performances and outstanding musicianship you will want to make sure to put this tribute on your list of must see bands. Band Members Sarah Pinzon -Vocals, Dave Farrell - Guitar, Mark Hopkins - Bass Guitar, Rico Ybarra - Drums.

Patitude, Love is a Battlefield, Promises in the Dark

Patitude, No You Don't Cover.

Opening the show was Spokane locals Piper's Rush Tribute if you are a Rush fan then this band is a must see. Jody Piper really nails Geddy Lee's vocal range this band is the closest you can get to Rush next to the real thing. Members include Jody Piper-Vocals, bass, keyboards, Lyle Zomes-Drums, Dan shredding on guitar.

Spokane locals Vain Halen also performed at Friday night's tribute show. The members of this band have played in many local bands dating back to the 80's. They do a great rendition of Van Halen with Matt Smith's shredding on guitar he is spot on to Eddie Van Halen. Mark Mood fronting the band really pulls off David Lee Roth's showmanship, Chris Krzywda pounding the drums as Alex Van Halen and Dave McClave as Michael Anthony on the Jack Daniels bass and keyboards Van Halen themselves would be impressed. The Roadhouse was the place to be Friday night with 3 of the best tribute bands around.

Sadly a few days after the show our friend and talented musician bass player and keyboards for the Vain Halen Tribute Band Dave McClave was involved in a deadly motorcycle accident. Around 10 pm Tuesday night June 13th, 2017 he lost control of the bike crashing into the guardrail it is unclear as to why he lost control? If he possibly was cut off by a driver that may not have seen him or some other circumstance? Dave was truly loved by many he probably had no idea how important he was to the Spokane music scene and community? Dave also served his country in the Navy and leaves behind many friends, family former wife and kids he was 49 years old.

Dave had recently earned his motorcycle endorsement and had only been riding for a couple weeks he was still nervous about riding on the freeway but wanted to face his fears. Dave was a friend to many and had been a big part of Spokane's music family since his high school years. It is still hard to believe he is gone this is a huge loss for Spokane's music community. Rock$tarzz Hospitality's Tribute Concert Friday night was Dave's last live performance, who would have ever known what a difference just a few days would make? We are dedicating the Tribute Concert to Dave's memory, keep playing that big bad bass in the sky you will be dearly missed. In Loving Memory - July 24, 1967 to June 13, 2017

Alter Bridge (In Loving Memory)

Support your friends and family in what ever they do? Hold them close and go out and live it up life is too short, buy those concert tickets don't put it off until next time you never know if there will be a next time? Rest in Peace David McClave.
