This past weekend was like taking a trip with Marty McFly in Back To The Future, setting the Flux Capacitor back to 1985. With the Aquanet in hand, the big hair, spandex,torn jeans and eyeliner I was out the door heading for one of the biggest 80's Rock N Roll shows at The Roadhouse in the Spokane Valley. Spokane didn't know what was about to hit them? The Hair Nation 80's Rock Party proudly presented by Rock$tarzz Hospitality Promotions. What a great party with 80's rock n roll all night and prizes for best 80's costume.

Hair Nation from Seattle made their debut in Spokane April 28, 2017, to a full house at The Roadhouse. Hair Nation is the Northwest's Premier 80's Hair Rock Band that plays all 80's rock n roll, dressing the part to give all you 80's rockers the full 80' experience. With high energy stage performances and playing all the 80's hits, this show was nothing but a good time. Hair Nation recreates the best decade for rock n roll. The 80's was all about the party and if you were lucky enough to live the experience then you were one of the lucky ones, Friday night was your chance to re-live the decade that shaped a generation. For those of you who didn't get to experience the 80's then the Roadhouse was the place to be and witness first hand what you missed. Band Members, Bret Meals - Lead Vocals, Marco Ferrari - Bass/Back-up Vocals, Johnny Nightrain - Lead Guitar/Back-up Vocals, Cheater Criss - Drums, Cowbell & Swagger. Hair Nation played 2 solid hours of all your favorite 80's hits from Poison, Journey, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, to Kiss, and Motley Crue the crowd was eating it up and loving every minute of it.

Opening the show was Spokane's own Dragonfly they started their 80- minute set with AC/DC then went into Candlebox, Def Leppard, Zeppelin and much more, the crowd was ready to party 80's style and Dragonfly was ready to deliver. Dragonfly is one of the best cover bands in town, I have heard nothing but great things about them since the show Friday night, many wondered why they had never heard them until now? The band will for sure have some new loyal supporters. Band Members, Larry Taylor (Lead Vocals and Rhythm guitar), Michael Clampffer (Drums and Vocals), Lee Houk (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Tyler Hunt (Bass Guitar and Vocals).

Both bands stepped it up a notch, this show was off the hook. Huge turn out at the Roadhouse and it was awesome seeing all the great 80's costumes. Congratulations to our contest winner of our gift basket filled with cash and prizes Ellen Wilson, Hair Nation made her an honorary member of the band for the night. Thank you to Hair Nation and Dragonfly for playing this incredible show and to the Roadhouse and staff for offering up the venue to hold this amazing event and last but certainly not least thank you to all who came out to party with us. This show was nothing but a good time we rock n rolled all night.

The party didn't stop at the Roadhouse, I went for round two Saturday night as the Hair Nation Party rolled into the 3rd Wheel in Lewiston, ID. I had been meaning to get to Lewistion to check out the venue and thought this would be a good time. The venue was nice , good size stage but the best part was the sound system it is off the hook the band sounded amazing I will definitely be going back.
