Zoso The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience (Rock N Roll)

If you like old time rock and Led Zeppelin inspired you back in the 1970's then the Knitting Factory Spokane was the place to be last night. Zoso the Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience were in town for an incredible rendition of Led Zeppelin. " I have wanted to catch their show for years when they have been in town but somehow always miss it? I made sure to catch this one and I'm glad I did. "Zoso" is one of the best tributes to Led Zeppelin I have ever seen they take you back to a time when rock was at it's best, with their very similar looks and stage performances, with long guitar solos and no 70's rock concert would be complete without the awaited drum solo that Led Zeppelin and John Bonham was known for. "Zoso" Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience played a long intense 2- hour set there was no disappointment, these guys really delivered.

Zoso was formed back in 1995, I was surprised to learn that they have been around for over 22 years and still going strong. Goes to show you how spot on this band is to the real thing. Members include Matt Jernigan as Robert Plant, John McDaniel as Jimmy Page, Adam Sandling as John Paul Jones, and Bevan Davies as John Bonham. If you missed Led Zeppelin live in their hay day or just weren't born yet to live the experience then go see "Zoso" it's like being there all over again. How many bands can you say are still a big influence on musicians today? And kids of the modern era know who Led Zeppelin are and rock out to their music from over 40 years ago. How many bands of today can you estimate will still be a household name like Led Zeppelin in 40 years? Probably not many if any, they just don't make them like they use too.

Bevan Davies drum solo was like no other it was like John Bonham reincarnated. Davies pounded out an over 8- minute solo I got tired just watching him, at one point he threw the sticks away and just used his hands to finish the performance. This was one of the best drum solos I have witnessed there was no getting bored with this one. The crowd in the venue were really getting into it and watched in amazement as Davies beat those skins, John Bonham himself would be proud incredible performance. Matt Jernigan's (Plant) vocals were spot on and John McDaniel's (Page) rip- roaring guitar solos were from something out of this world, this is the show to see for any Led Zeppelin fan.

Super Villian opened the show with a short but sweet 20- minute set. I had not had the opportunity to see these guys live until last night. These hometown guys have a sound similar to Styx and band members consist of Scott Thompson - Guitars/Vocals, Bobby Kluss - Bass, Jeff Schell - Drums. I chatted with them for a moment after the show and ended up with each member's wristbands of the night, cool bunch of guys.

Zoso The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience is a must see show it is sure on my list to see again the next time they tour through town. If you didn't catch this show you really missed a great one.
