Myles Kennedy Performing @ Spokane's Street Music Week

Not to many knew that Myles Kennedy was going to make an appearance and perform for Spokane's Street Music Week? If the word had got out, downtown Spokane would have needed crowd control on a Wednesday afternoon. As it was while Myles was performing people just walked past and went about their business as if nothing was going on? I'm sure some people were not aware who was actually performing that day on the sidewalk? It wasn't until later Wednesday evening when a video of Myles performance was posted on facebook that fans found out, by that time it was to late.

Street Music Week is a week of music from street performers donating their time and talent to raise money for charity, this year marks the 14th annual event and there are 3 locations around town and Coeur d'Alene to catch all the fun.

Myles Kennedy is the lead vocalist for the band Alter Bridge and also sings with Slash and The Conspirators. Myles grew up in Spokane and his family still lives here so he shows up from time to time for events and concerts while he is not touring with his two projects. It is very possible you could run into him on the street, a store, and even a music event or concert. Myles Kennedy and Alter Bridge are scheduled to perform at Rock Hard at the Park in Post Falls, ID August 24th, as one of the headliners, along with Breaking Benjamin, Saint Asonia, Avatar, Shaman's Harvest, and Stitched Up Heart.
