Royal Bliss, Elephant Gun Riot, The Broken Thumbs, May 8, 2015

Utah rockers Royal Bliss blew the roof off of The Palomino Club on Friday night, May 8th. Michigan rockers Wayland and Acidic from Los Angeles were also scheduled to perform that night. Wayland had been having problems with their bus and have been stuck in Colorado for over a week and won't be on the road again until this Tuesday or Wednesday if all goes as planned. These guys are real troopers ever time they go out on tour it seems, they break down in the most out of the way places. At least this time it was in the Rockies and not in the middle of the hot Arizona desert. The boys from LA, very well known to the Spokane locals, also were having transportation issues and had to cancele the show. I don't feel as bad for them as they were stranded in Las Vegas, poor guys lol. Both bands plan on making it up to the Spokane fans in the near future. The show still rocked despite of the two cancellations. Spokane locals The Broken Thumbs and Elephant Gun Riot tore up the stage and got the crowd ready to rock. Then Royal Bliss hit the stage playing all of their favorite songs and added a couple new tunes to the set. The guys in Royal Bliss consist of Members: Neal Middleton - Lead Vocals Taylor Richards - Guitar Jake Smith - Drums Dwayne Crawford - Bass Memphis Hennesy - Guitar. Memphis (Sean) Hennesy is also the second guitarist for the band Candlebox, In July of 2014 he joined Royal Bliss as the second guitarist, unfortunately Sean was unable to make the show on Friday night. But no worries the show was a rocking success. Jimmy Nuge from the local band The Fail Safe Project was one of the patrons at the show, he made a guest appearance on stage with the guys in Royal Bliss and also sang along with the band. Tchick Cooper was also at the show, this happened to be her birthday weekend. Neal Middleton called her up on stage to do a birthday shot and toast. You can see all of the live action by clicking on the link below and check out the videos and photos of the show. The guys in Royal Bliss are as nice as they get, very humble and they make sure the fans are taken care of. For their encore performance the band comes down off the stage and forms a circle with the concert goers on the floor to end the night with their song, "Home", the fans really enjoy this part of the show and are left wanting more. After the show Royal Bliss does not disappoint. They make sure to come out and mingle with the fans, sign autographs and take pictures. It was mentioned to me that after the show the guys from the band went to a local pub with some of the locals to continue with the evening. If you haven't been to a Royal Bliss concert you are missing out. The next time they come to your town you are sure to want to check them out.
