Vial 8, Piper's Rush Tribute, Knotty Gun Stick, Sacred Grounds, BlameShifter, OutPost

I attended the show at The Hop Saturday night a couple up and coming bands opened the show after the acoustic set by Brett Allen....next up came Sacred Grounds from Wellpinit their style of music is hard rock these guys have only been together for a couple months and are coming along in their music quite well....then came a new band OutPostthis was their second live show, there were a few technical problems but a great set buy a new Punk style rock band.

Piper's RUSH played next these guys are veteran musicians and know exactly what they are doing....if you want to see and hear a great Rush Tribute Band these are the guys to see...Jody A Piper lead singer sounds very close to Geddy Lee the orignal singer of Rush in my opinion....then the headliners Blameshifter with their heavy metal style music closed the show....

All in all the show went off without a hitch except one at the end of the night...I don't like Facebook drama and will try to stay away from it as much as possible but then again I am reporting the event...I'm not going to say a lot about the situation other than there was a problem with the promoter at the end of the night....the funny thing is, is that I thought I was one of the promoters but really got the feeling in the last couple weeks that my services were no longer needed, I am assuming they got what they wanted from me? I bet most of you didn't even know I was a Promoter with them I usually didn't get any of the credits or public acknowledgement.

All I will say about the mishap is that I feel it was very unprofessional no matter the circumstances....you are the promoter and the fans are there to support the bands and the venue....isn't that why you are promoting these events anyway?
